The Accel Sentinel® systems have had many benefits to our operation. We put systems on two printing presses in our Texas plant. They have significantly reduced our ink waste. Another benefit has been on the housekeeping side. No longer do we have to deal with ink “stringers” on the printing units or on the printing decks. It is also much easier to clean and setup the ink fountains. Our operators really like the ease of use and cleaner procedures for wash-up and setup.

The second way waste is reduced is through waste prevention. Waste prevention occurs through the use of the Sentinel iPro® Ink Management System. During 2002, waste ink reduced due to the use of Sentinel® System amounted to 5.8 tons!
